100 guests forced onto street after fire at Sky Plaza Hotel, Leicester
More than 100 guests were forced onto the street in the early hours of today after a fire at a Leicester city centre hotel.
Firefighters said 133 people were accounted for after they ordered the evacuation of the Sky Plaza Hotel, in Abbey Street, at about 1.30am.

The Sky Plaza Hotel, in Abbey Street, Leicester
A total of 11 fire crews attended the blaze which started with a fire in the laundry room on the third floor of the nine-storey hotel.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
