Blaby: Members of Blaby Rotary Club invited 230 elderly people to its annual concert at Brockington College, Enderby.

They were entertained by Enderby Senior Band, who performed music ranging from G Rossini's Overture to L'Italien en Algiers to Mashwitch and Sherwin's A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square.

During the interval refreshments were provided by women of the Inner Wheel Club of Blaby.

For many of the audience, it was their first time in the magnificent hall approached from an impressive atrium of the newly-rebuilt college.
