50-year-old man charged after football match racism inquiry

Police investigating allegations young footballers were racially abused during a match have charged a 50-year-old man with a public order offence.

The offence is alleged to have occurred at a game between Blaby and Whetstone FC and Leicester Nirvana FC on October 21, in Littlethorpe.

The man is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Monday, February 25
