6,000-calorie Kidz Breakfast pushes Robert Pinto to the limit!
He already holds an eating world record and is no stranger to a big breakfast – but Robert Pinto says he was pushed to the limit by his latest super-sized spread.
The 39-year-old this week became the first person to polish off a gigantic meal dubbed the Kidz Breakfast because it weighs the same as a small child.
Robert, from Ketton, Rutland, travelled 125 miles to Norfolk to take on the 9lb, 6,000 calorie meal – and wolfed it down in 26 minutes.
Jesters Diner in Southtown, Great Yarmouth, is selling the mammoth feast for £15, but Robert earned his for free by clearing his plate.
He said: "It was a heart attack on a plate. To be honest it was pretty difficult, especially with the fried bread which was literally covered in fat.
"I always knew it could be done, but I don't think anyone else could do it, that shows by the fact it took me the longest to eat of all the ones I have done.
"When I first saw it, I thought 'that looks pretty big', and I didn't know where to start. There was a lot of potato and it was quite dry compared with the others, which I think is the reason why it took longer.
"I try to use the bread to make little sandwiches filled with the other ingredients."
The clothes shop owner already holds the Guinness World Record for demolishing another big breakfast at Mario's Cafe, in Bolton, in November 2011.
He ate that giant plate of grub in eight minutes 46 seconds, and a few months earlier last year, he also managed to eat another huge breakfast at the Hungry Horse, in Corby, Northants, in 13 minutes.
Surprisingly-slim Robert admitted the Jesters' Kidz Breakfast was the hardest to eat so far.
He said the greasy mass played havoc with his digestion afterwards.
He said: "It was quite painful.
"But after I had that on Monday, I went for five-mile run, went down the gym and had a swim.
"You have to keep healthy.
"It's all about the fruit and veg for me now for the rest of the week."
Robert did get his meal free, but said he'll be donating the £15 he saved to a heart charity.
Owner of Jesters Diner Martin Smith, 42, said: "Everyone said no-one is ever going to do it but I knew someone could.
"Robert did say he was fairly full though."
He added: "There are lots of different dishes on our menu and the Kidz Breakfast is pretty popular considering how large it is.
"We sell about two or three a week.
"Some people have asked why we don't serve tea or coffee with the breakfast. But these drinks contain caffeine which is very bad for you so we chose not to include them in the deal."

12 sausages
Six eggs
Four slices of black pudding
Four slices of bread and butter

“He travelled 125 miles to Norfolk to eat the 'free' £15 breakfast. Is his petrol cheaper than mine then?
Not a lot to be proud about there.”

“How absolutely revolting. I gather that 'competitive eating' events are popular in USA, how many hotdogs you can stuff down your throat in 5 minutes or whatever. The whole concept is wrong in every way, thats even before you factor in people around the world, children, that are starving.
So why is the LM reporting this story as if he is done something positive? He hasn't run a marathon for charity, he has stuffed his face, its a celebration of gluttony - not something to celebrate.”
