Angling: Celtic Lakes proving a hot spot for giant pike
There has been some outstanding pike fishing this week at Celtic Lakes Fishery.
Anglers have been catching plenty of big fish on the sailing lake at the Frisby-on-the-Wreake venue.

Melton's Andy Pollard landed three pike between 8lb and 13lb 8oz.
Lincolnshire's Colin Faversham made his first visit to the fishery, hoping to land his first zander.
He caught one scaling 9-7, but also hooked a 20-4 pike.
Graham Jackson caught six double-figure pike with the best weighing 18lb.
Leicester's Chris Graham caught the week's best pike, scaling 15-6, on the boys pit.
He was fishing lures when he made his personal-best catch and he also took fish weighing 8-12, 11-0 and 5-0.
The River Wreake section of the fishery is coming into its own with the arrival of the colder weather and the clearing of weed.
Plenty of chub to 4lb are being caught and perch to 2lb are showing.
Leicester's Brian Dennis caught three pike to 12lb.
Pete Wootton and Graham Taylor tied for first place in Knighton AC's match on Little Geary's pool, Packington Somers Fishery, Warwickshire.
Wootton fished pellet and Taylor used feeder, and both caught 7-0 in a contest in which difficult conditions kept weights low.
Mark Roberts was third on 5-6 and Steve Oakes fourth on 5-5.
Wigston AS are holding their fur-and-feather open tomorrow on the Grand Union Canal at Kilby.
They are also staging the Mick Holohan memorial match on Sunday, January 8.

Billy Knight edged to victory in a midweek open on lake four at Dynamite Baits Makins Fishery, Wolvey.
He caught 57-12 to pip Geoff Ringer, 56-14, the two finishing well clear of their rivals.
Lee Farmer (Browning) won the following day's contest on the lagoon lake on 39-8.
