Aaron Wells, of Leicester Sensas, fought off 34 other competitors to win the Kegworth Open.

Conditions were far from ideal, and the blustery wind and rain meant it was always going to be a challenge.

Wells used chopped worm and caster to land perch and eel for a total of 9-10.

Mark Eustace (Leicester Sensas) was second. He caught a tench and some perch for 6-05. John Brockway (Long Eaton) was third with 5-06, while another Leicester Sensas man, Joff Woodgett, took 5-05.
