Fish were caught from all areas, producing a close result, but it was Chris Harrison (Bailey's of Warwick) who took the honours. On peg 19, he fished pellet and cone on the bomb for his eight-carp catch to weigh in with 36-04.
Joe McKenna (Higham Lane Fishery) was second on 34-14, with John Varley (Higham Lane Fishery) third on 27-4.
Harrison made it a double at Makins when he also won the Thursday Kobra open.
In a strong wind and heavy rain, bites were hard to come by and, although everyone caught fish, only five anglers weighed in at match end.
Harrison caught one decent carp and made the remainder of his 26-10 weight with skimmers and roach, most falling to caster and pellet.
Andy Searle (Middy) caught two quick carp for 11-08 on bomb and corn, but then had to work hard with pole for the remaining 8-00 of his catch for 19-08 and second place.
Jason Shirley (Bailey's of Warwick) was third on 17-04.
