Animal rights protesters in calls to close kennels
More than 100 animal rights activists joined a protest march to stop a company breeding and selling dogs and other animals for use in medical experiments.
The National Anti-Vivisection Alliance is campaigning to shut down Harlan, in Belton, near Loughborough.

The group marched through the town centre on Saturday, then staged a demonstration outside the company's base.
March organiser Luke Steele said the alliance plans to stage demonstrations outside the building once or twice a month, calling on the company to close its kennels and hand over the beagles for rehoming.
He said: "They are the last supplier in the country which supplies dogs for research.
"A lot of local people we spoke to didn't know it existed."
The company declined to comment.
