Appeal after man racially abused in Narborough Road South, near Fosse Park
Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was racially abused and punched in the mouth.
The 33-year-old victim, who is Asian, was targeted at 1.40pm on Sunday in Narborough Road South, near the Fosse Park shopping centre.

He was walking near the Asda roundabout when one of a group of youths directed a racist comment at him.
The man challenged the youth who punched him in the face, splitting his lip.

The youth and his friends walked away toward the nearby Peugeot Castle garage.
Pc Liam Mears said: "The victim received a cut to his lip during the incident.
"He was subjected to a racist comments and this was a distressing incident for him.
"There were a number of motorists and pedestrians in the area around the time of the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the suspect."
The suspect is white but tanned, 16 to 18, slim and has short dark brown spiky hair. He has large brown eyes, a long thin nose and a long thin face. He was wearing a bright blue T-shirt.
