Archery: Gold and silver for county sisters
Sisters Christie Westman and Rikki Bingham were in fine form at Archery GB's National series final, taking the gold and silver medals in the women's compound event.
Four tournaments around the country make up the series, with the top four archers in each discipline going forward to the grand final.
In her semi-final at Oxford, Bowmen of Birstall's Bingham was up against Pauline Burfitt, a team-mate in the successful England team in the recent Euronations in Guernsey, and was down by two points after the first end of three arrows.
From there, however, she took control and ran out a winner by three points.

Westman, another Birstall archer, also fell behind in the early stages against Andrea Gales, winner of a team bronze medal in the World Championships this year, but came through to win 138-134 and set up a final clash against her older sister.
Westman took the lead from the start and, although her sister won the third and tied the last end, she held on to take the gold medal 138-134.
Westman was delighted to win in her first appearance in the finals but it was also a great result for Bingham, her second place bettering her bronze medal finishes in her two previous finals.
