Leicester Tigers head coach Richard Cockerill handed out the prizes at Fleckney & Kibworth Running Club's awards night held at the Walkers Stadium.

The individual honours went to Rachael Campbell (women's athlete of the year), Adam Taylor (men's athlete of the year), Jody Ward (most improved athlete and club person of the year) and Noel Houlihan (outstanding individual performance).

Houlihan capped a fine season by setting a new club record of 2hr 57min 58sec for the Leicester Marathon which earned him the county Masters title.

The black-tie event also acted as a fund-raiser for the club's charity Wishes4Kids.
