Aussie is too hot for Ford
Tom Ford made an early exit from the UK Championship at the Barbican, York, yesterday.
The Leicester potter, ranked 25 in the world, was beaten by sixth-ranked Neil Robertson.
The Australian was in supreme form and raced into a 5-0 lead. A rare mistake allowed Ford to pull one back, but Robertson won the next frame to clinch the match 6-1.
Robertson fired in four century breaks along the way.
