Pop star Avril Lavigne (above) has sold the marital home she shared with her ex-husband Deryck Whibley for a reported $8.5 million.

The Canadian singer sold the sprawling Bel Air mansion to Chris Paul, who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team, according to TMZ.com.

The 12,184 square-foot Bel Air property has eight bedroom and ten bathrooms.

Pixie Geldof was recently spotted looking for a new home with best friend, Radio 1 presenter Nick Grimshaw. The model and musician is even on trend with her living plans. She is keen to snap up a house in London's trendy Dalston area where her celebrity mates, including Kelly Osbourne and Alexa Chung, like to party.

The former home of disgraced politician John Profumo is on the market. It's a Grade I-listed property at Chester Terrace overlooking Regent's Park, designed by John Nash, the architect responsible for much of Regency London, the four-bed house now has a cinema room, wine cellar and garden.
