Loughborough Students look almost certain to retain the Leicestershire League women's Division One title after a 9-0 whitewash at Loughborough Town.

Loughborough Leys moved into second spot after beating bottom side Longslade 7-2.

In Division Two, Longslade seconds head the table and are heading for the top flight next season.

In Division Three, Leicester University upset leaders Loughborough Town 5-4 in one of the highest-scoring matches of the season.

In Division Two of the men's league, Leicester University consolidated their mid-table position by edging Melton 5-4.

In Division 4B, Leys completed their campaign at the head of the table.

But they must await the results of teams below before celebrating.

South's victory at Central saw them win the Division Two mixed title, meaning the club will almost certainly have two teams in the top flight next season.

In Division 3A, Wyggeston continued their successful campaign with Helene Maginness and Ash Parmar providing three rubbers to edge Melton 5-4. Results:
