Band get blessing of Marley family
A band inspired by Bob Marley has been endorsed by the family of the late reggae singer.
Echo Marley and the Musical Warriors recorded the album The Harmony last year and sent some of the tracks to Marley's son Rohan after making contact on Facebook and Twitter.
Rohan helps run the 1Love Foundation – a not-for-profit organisation founded by the singer's widow Rita which promotes the work of other charities.
A blog post on its website has now asked people to support Echo Marley and the Musical Warriors' album.

Lead singer Deven Stuart, from St Matthew's, Leicester, said: "I'm still overwhelmed by it, to be honest.
"Bob Marley is massive and I am a huge fan and to get a personal message from his son saying he had massive respect for our message – the legacy of his music – it is amazing."
The 38-year-old father-of-two, said: "We want to help others and spread the message of unity and one love.
"I still can't believe they said they were deeply moved by our music and lyrical content – it's amazing."
The Marley family's 1Love Foundation supports a number of causes including Charity: Water – which works to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
Echo Marley and the Musical Warriors' album will be released in about six weeks' time on iTunes.
Eight tracks are available to download now – four free and four which can be bought, with 50 per cent of profits going to Charity: Water.
In a blog post, 1Love said: "Here at 1Love, we are blessed to have so many beautiful people sharing with us the way Bob Marley's words, musical vibrations and vision for the world have touched and influenced their lives.
"We feel you – that's why we are here, Standing Up for Bob's dream of a better tomorrow for the youth, our planet and peace.
"It gives us those warm fuzzies when people reach out to us with word on how that love for Bob has transferred over to a commitment to 1Love and the charities we support.
"This is why I want to introduce you to Echo Marley and the Musical Warriors.
"Blessings, Echo Marley, we appreciate you."
It urged people to support the band, which also includes Phil Garrett, Siobhan Mckintosh, Jake St James, Matt Willshaw and Jon Page, who are all from Leicester.
They formed in 2010 and write and perform original songs inspired by Bob Marley and his philosophy.
