Leicester Riders have extended their stay at 'fortress' John Sandford
Now, the university has extended these arrangements until mid-April.
Riders are top of the BBL table, after finishing a best-ever second in the championship last season, helped in no small measure by an undefeated record at the John Sandford that goes back to last February, a run that includes 17 straight wins.

Riders general manager, Russell Levenston, was delighted with the news,
"The continuing support of DMU is extremely appreciated by the club, and gives us certainty for our fans," he said. "We are well aware DMU have extensive building work planned for the venue, so it is a big step for them to maintain this availability.
"We are absolutely delighted. The big crowds there, and fabulous atmosphere, are a big plus for the team, and it is good to get rid of that uncertainty."
Riders will play two games in the second half of the season at Loughborough University because they are going to be televised by Sky TV.
These will be against Sheffield Sharks on Sunday, February 10, (4pm), and on Sunday, April 7, (4pm) in what could be a crucial climax to the BBL regular season against the champions, Newcastle Eagles.
Riders announced in mid- October a project with Leicestershire County Cricket Club and Leicester College to build a new Arena at Grace Road. Further developments are expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
