Basketball: Surrey Heat 66 Leicester Riders 82
Leicester Riders battled through to the semi-finals of the BBL Trophy with a 82-66 victory at Surrey Heat tonight.
The Jelson Homes DMU-backed Riders were made to fight all the way before a late surge sealed their quarter-final victory.
Jay Couisnard led the way for Riders with 22 points and 7 rebounds, while Drew Sullivan was at his imperious best with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Riders now face a two-leg semi-final against either Newcastle Eagles or Worcester Wolves, who play their quarter-final tie next week.
