Bargain-hunters are travelling from as far afield as London to pick up designer clothes at a charity shop in Market Harborough.

The popularity of what is on sale has helped the British Heart Foundation shop make a profit of more than £750,000 in the past seven years.

Shop manager Helen Coombes has thrown a party for her team of volunteers to celebrate the 20th birthday of the High Street shop.

Mrs Coombes, 58, said: "I have a great team of 64 volunteers who help fund-raise, bring in items and sort them for sale."
