A church has applied for planning permission to make repairs to its listed building.

Father Phillip Scanlan, of St Mary's Catholic Church, Ashby Road, Loughborough, wants to fix the damaged roof, repair water damage to walls as well as refurbish the confession booths.

Planning officers at Charnwood Borough Council are considering his proposals.
