QFrench tennis player Gilles Simon said women tennis players do not deserve to be paid as much as men for winning Wimbledon. What's your view?

AHe's probably said that as he has never won anything. I believe in equal pay for an equal job.

QWiltshire Police have been picking up truants from their homes and driving them to school.

Is this in an effective way of cutting truancy or a waste of police resources?

AI think this is a complete waste of police resources. The police should be there to stop real crime and not ferry kids to school.

It should be the responsibility of the parents and the school to tackle the issue together and not police.

Is it all right that somebody works for a company without being paid if it helps them eventually achieve the career they want?

AIt's a shame these guys are being abused for their desire to better themselves. We need more people out there with the passion to work hard, wanting to make a difference and be personally successful. The minimum wage should be the minimum and not a penny less.

QBarclays was fined £290 million for attempting to manipulate the money markets.

QFigures show the number of flight delays at UK airports has increased this year.

Have you ever experienced a major delay at an airport or any other nightmarish situations when travelling?

AYes, when travelling back from New York a few years ago my flight back to Stansted was delayed then cancelled. We then had to get a flight to Paris with a connecting flight to Heathrow and a bus to Stansted. We got home 12 hours later than planned – the luggage took a few more days.
