Boy, 11, attacked by gang who stole his scooter
An 11-year-old boy was beaten and kicked by a group of youths who then stole his scooter.
The child was targeted while he was playing with friends in Leicester's Knighton Park.
Police said the attack was carried out by six or seven youths, who told the boy to hand over the black and white Osprey scooter.
When he refused, they attacked him.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to the attack, which happened at 4.15pm on Saturday.
Detective Constable Rich Gamage said: "The victim has been left very shocked by the robbery and scared to return to the park.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the park on Saturday to think back.
"Did you witness the robbery? Did you see the same group of youths?"
One of the boys involved in the robbery is white, 15 or 16, of average build with dark blond, spiky hair.
He was wearing a blue and white zip-up, hooded top which had a white Adidas logo on the right- hand side of the chest and black tracksuit bottoms.
One of the other boys from the group is described as having a long brown fringe.
