Boy hit by car while crossing road in Whetstone, Leicestershire
A 12-year-old boy was injured when he was struck by a car while crossing the road.
The youngster was hit on a crossing in Enderby Road, Whetstone at 8am today.
His injuries are not thought to be serious but police are appealing for witnesses. Call officers on 101.
