“John Jinx 'The Legend'. People always put good things about a person they have lost but in John's case it is all true. You could not wish for a better young man, he was honest, funny, caring and had the biggest heart of gold, nothing was ever to much trouble for him, he hadn't a bad bone in his body. John would be devastated to learn that another was injured because of the accident and on behalf of John, his family and his friends we would like to wish her a speedy recovery. The Bateman house will never be the same and we will miss him terribly. All our Love Jeanette, Len and Jennifer Bateman xxxxxx”

“I knew John for a good few years and he was one of the most genuine people I've had the pleasure of meeting. A good friend to all and a heart of gold. You'll always be missed, but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with his family and the lady recovering in hospital. Another death on a dangerous road.”
