Brewery wins national award for the management of pubs

Everards brewery has won a national award for the management of its pubs.

The Enderby company was named Pub Company of the Year at the Publican Awards.

It beat fellow finalists SA Brain and co, of Cardiff, and St Austell's brewery in Cornwall.

The success was the fourth time Everards – which has 170 pubs in its estate – has won the title in the past six years.

The Everards team collected the accolade at a ceremony hosted by comedian Rob Brydon and held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London.
