Brighton boss speaks up for Jermaine Beckford
Brighton manager Gus Poyet described the second-half events at the Amex Stadium as 'absolute madness'.
Poyet backed Jermaine Beckford after his straight red card and questioned the red card shown to his midfielder Matt Sparrow late on.

Neil Danns was also dismissed in added-time for a second yellow card, although Poyet said his challenge on Vicente Rodriguez could also have been a straight red.
"The second half was crazy, absolute madness," said Poyet.
"But at the end, in these types of games, you have to take the points, then you analyse the incidents afterwards.
"I didn't see it (the Beckford incident) in the game.
"The first surprise was that the referee didn't give the free-kick, and then the linesman flagged. We don't know why.
"I didn't see it. I saw it afterwards and it didn't look that bad. It doesn't look aggressive.
"I know Jermaine well. He is a terrific lad and an excellent football player. I have looked at the video and there isn't a lot there.
"I don't know what the outcome of Sparrow's red card will be because it is clear it is not a two-footed tackle, just one. We will see what they say.
"Danns was easy. It was a clear chance for us to kill off the game and he could have got a straight red because it was a clear goal-scoring chance.
"It was absolute madness for a game which I thought in the first half was very interesting."
The incidents will detract from what was a big victory for Poyet's team.
But the Brighton boss was delighted with Will Buckley's last-minute winner.
"We knew it would be very difficult and we knew the quality Leicester possessed, their strength and the quality of their players, so we needed to be very good," said Poyet.
"I thought it was a proper football match between two very good and well organised teams. It was difficult to create chances."

“Here is the stupidity of the present rulings by FA etc. We have a picture here of Poyet tapping Beckford on the head. If that had been two players on the field of play the offending player could have been sent off for physical violence !!!.”
