Burglars steal cash from 69-year-old woman after tricking their way into her Coalville home
A thief tricked his way into a 69-year-old woman's home by claiming she had won a cash prize.
Once inside the house, in Avenue Road, Coalville, the man searched through cupboards and drawers, pocketing cash as he found it.

The victim has told police a second man was also in her house. The pair then ran away with the cash and a bank book.
The incident happened at 7pm on Friday, February 8.

Pc Catherine Fletcher said today: "The victim and her family are understandably upset by what these men have done and we are urging anyone with
information to get in touch.
"If you live in the Avenue Road area and we haven't already spoken to you, then please think back. Have you been approached by the same
man?
"Did you see two men in the area, one similar to the one described? Do you think you know anyone responsible?
"If so please don't hesitate to get in touch and help us with our investigation."
The suspect is white, skinny and has short black hair. He is thought to be in his 20s and has prominent, discoloured teeth.
The victim was unable to provide a description of the second intruder
