Burglars steal cash and jewellery from home in Asfordby
Police have appealed for help tracing intruders who stole cash and jewellery from a village home.
The house, in Chadwell Close, Asfordby, near Melton was burgled between 4pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday.
Detective Constable Sam Bates said: "We believe a dark maroon Argos pillowcase with a green and pink flowery pattern on the front and a lime green back was used to carry the jewellery away, if you have seen a similar pillowcase discarded in the area please contact the police."
