CCTV appeal after women assaulted in Leicester city centre

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify after two women were assaulted in Leicester city centre.

The women, both aged 19, were in a fast food restaurant, in Eastgates, when they were approached by a man who made inappropriate comments towards one of them and then assaulted them.

The victims received minor injuries which didn’t require medical treatment.

The attack took place at about 3.30am on Wednesday, January 4.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Danny Pattison on 101.
