Evington: An open meeting to form the Evington Community Orchard Group takes place at 6.30pm on Monday, February 22, in Evington House.

The community orchard is a collaborative project with Evington Park Services and climate-change group Transition Leicester.

Once the group has been established, volunteers will be recruited to plant fruit and nut trees and the Evington community will be encouraged to get involved in growing, harvesting and sharing the rewards of their efforts.
