Cases dealt with at Leicester Magistrates' Court include:

Daniel Rowe, (30), of Cornwall Way, Hinckley, pleaded guilty to growing and possessing cannabis at a property in Newbold Road, Barlestone, on February 24 last year. He was given a 12-month supervision order and ordered to pay £200 court costs.

Zoheb Din, (19), of Littlemore Close, Rowlatts Hill, Leicester, admitted failing to stop after an accident while driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Gwendolen Road, Evington, on June 22 last year, and failing to report the accident. He further admitted driving the car on that date without a valid licence and without insurance. Din was fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs. He was banned from driving for six months.

Linda Gallagher, (56), of Holly Road, Measham, admitted driving a Renault Scenic in High Street, Measham, without a valid licence or valid insurance on July 20 last year. She admitted failing to produce her licence within seven days of July 20. She was fined £135 and ordered to pay £60 costs. Six penalty points we put on her licence.

Waldemar Wydra, (31), of Quebec Road, St Matthews, admitted stealing fuel worth £86 from St Matthews Service Station, Humberstone Road, on July 19. He was fined £100, ordered to pay £86 compensation, £100 victim surcharge and costs. He also pleaded guilty to a similar offence involving £75 of fuel from the Trocadero Service Station. He was fined £100 and £75 compensation.
