Cases dealt with at Leicester Magistrates' Court include:

Michele Colangelo (26), of Narborough Road South, Braunstone Town, Leicester, was convicted of assaulting a person by beating, racially or religiously aggravated common assault and being drunk and disorderly, on July 15. She was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £250 compensation and do 150 hours of unpaid work.

Corey Millar (21), of Upper Temple Walk, Beaumont Leys, Leicester, admitted four counts of vandalising cars on July 23.

He was given a 12-week sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a total of £1,225 in compensation to the owners and to do 180 hours of unpaid work.

Elliot Hartley (19), of Rowanberry Avenue, New Parks, Leicester, admitted receiving a stolen Apple iPad, on September 17. He was fined £170 and ordered to pay £85 court costs.

Bryan Lee (40), of Piper Close, New Parks, Leicester, was found guilty in his absence of failing to give police information about the driver of a vehicle following an alleged offence.

He was fined £600, ordered to pay £85 and had six points put on his licence.

Ivor Ofarn (33) of Narborough Road, West End, Leicester, admitted beating a man on August 13. He was ordered to pay £75 compensation and £100 court costs.
