Cash and car seized during raid in Mere Lane, Bitteswell
Police seized about £30,000 in cash and a high-performance car as part of an operation to tackle high-value burglary.
Officers raided premises in Mere Lane, Bitteswell, yesterday and arrested a 33-year-old man.
He was being questioned by detectives last night.
The operation is part of an investigation into burglaries in which significant amounts of gold jewellery has been taken.
