Cash lift for car sharing for Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce

Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce has been awarded £5,000 towards introducing a green travel scheme for firms and their employees.

The cash was awarded by Leicester City Council in the form of a Leicester Fit for Business grant.

Part-funded by the Department of Transport, the cash will help businesses involved with the Smarter Travel Leicester programme, which seeks to encourage car sharing.
