Parents and pupils from several schools across the city were welcomed to look at dozens of stalls set up by children to showcase what they had been doing in lessons.
Teacher Riaj Markar, who helped organise the days, said: "It was fantastic to see pupils getting enthusiastic about their work and showing it off to visitors. We want youngsters to be excited about the subject and enthused to find out more about it and this is just one way we go about that.

"They talked about the experiments they had conducted and where possible showed real life examples. I think everyone had a fantastic time."

“Lovely to see schools opening their doors to showcase the talent of their pupils. Events like these can only enhance the confidence of the children and should hopefully encourage them to excel in their academic careers.”
