Paul Pallett was the hero for Markfield Rangers in their Wm Davis Trophy clash with Mountsorrel Imps.

Pallett struck twice to give Markfield a 2-1 victory in the preliminary round. Damian Waldrun netted for Imps.

Ashby Rovers beat Loughborough Saints 2-1, with goals from Louis Catlow and Lewis Chan in the Dutton Gardens Services Premier Division.

A strike from Michael Waugh helped Cropston Rangers gain all three points in a 1-0 success over Long Whatton in MJS Division One.

Sileby Athletics demolished Hathern Three Crowns 7-3 with goals from Louis Tolton (3), Matt Allard (3) and Simon Ogilde. Chris Walker (2) and Stuart Gibson were on target for Hathern.

Two goals from Colt Atkinson and one from Lee Watson helped Birstall Stamford A to a 3-0 home win against Hugglescote United in Sylvia Haines Division Two.

AFC The Vic won 4-2 at Loughborough Saints Reserves thanks to Michael Turner (2), Alan Beacon and Danny Campbell.
