A video production firm has teamed up with an online video giant for a project aimed at promoting social media and mobile technology.

Proof Studio, at Phoenix Square, Leicester, is working with Vimeo on the #laptoptag viral campaign.

The project has gained thousands of hits worldwide since going online earlier this week.

A Proof spokesman said: "With the support of one of the world's most powerful websites along with a growing number of local organisations, #laptoptag went live on February 7.''
