Leicester City are getting the hang of fresh style, but there's still work to do - Sousa
Leicester City are making progress but there is still plenty of work to be done, manager Paulo Sousa said after watching his side held 1-1 by League Two Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, writes Rob Tanner.
DJ Campbell's first-half free-kick, which beat Ryan Clarke at the near post, was cancelled out late in the second half by James Constable's equaliser from close range.

But City still showed signs that they were beginning to find their feet under new boss Sousa.
Last Tuesday night's win over Rotherham United was littered with errors in possession as the players got to grips with Sousa's demands for passing football.
But there was more cohesion and fluidity this time and, judging by Sousa's starting line-up, City will be going on full attack this season.
Sousa began with Steve Howard and Matty Fryatt in attack with Campbell, who looks very sharp and has now scored his fourth goal in as many pre-season friendlies, and Lloyd Dyer playing in wide positions.
Andy King also got forward well from the centre of midfield with Richie Wellens anchoring.
Dyer hit a post in the opening stages as he cut in off the right flank, and Campbell troubled the Oxford defence with his movement.
City controlled the vast majority of the game comfortably as they continue to go through the gears ahead of the trip to Crystal Palace on the opening day of the season in just under two weeks time.
The back four of Adams, who is still adjusting to his new role of right back, Michael Morrison, Jack Hobbs and new dad Bruno Berner were solid for the vast majority of the game, although they will feel unhappy with the way they were carved open for the equaliser in the 74th minute.
City's approach did leave them open to the counter attack at times and, against Championship opposition, that may be their Achilles heel, but Sousa said he was happy with the progress his side were making.
"I have seen some good things and some things I don't like so much," he said. "It is part of the process.
"We saw some things we want to see that we have been practising, and it is coming, but, when we don't see them, we must keep pushing and work in that way.
"We want to give the players the opportunity to enjoy what they do with the right attitude and with the football I expect.
"I thought we passed the ball better from the back. After that, the decision needs to be a little bit better and also the quality.
"There was a little more confidence in our four defenders and goalkeeper to do things we have been working on."
It was certainly a decent work-out for City as the countdown to August 7 continues.
Sousa took only six substitutes, meaning Nicky Adams, Michael Morrison, Chris Weale, Howard, Fryatt and Dyer all played the full 90 minutes.
"This was the first game where we have given the players more minutes on the pitch," he said.
"It is all part of getting the players physically ready. We are still training, sometimes on the mornings of games."
Sousa added: "Some individuals are in better shape and show that with better movement.
"They create good space for themselves and their team-mates with their movement."
CITY: Weale; Adams; Morrison; Hobbs (Kennedy 76); Berner (Parkes 71); Dyer; Wellens (Oakley 64); King (Verma 74); Campbell (N'Guessan 64); Fryatt; Howard. Sub not used: Logan.
Attendance: 2,770.

“I went to the Oxfrod match and although bearing in mind it was a friendly...£14.00 to watch the match was a bit steep. The goal from Campbell was good but apart from excellent performances from Berner, Hobbs and at times Dyer...the rest of the players need to take a good look at themselves because Oxford competed well and at times you could not tell the difference between the two sides...Leicester had a lot of half chances...but we should have been show boating this one 6-0 at least...no attacking style present yet - at least they did not hoof the ball up all the time...Friatt should have stayed in bed for this one...or perhaps he was having a nightmare!”
