Leicester City 'turn down latest attempt to sign striker DJ Campbell'
Leicester city have knocked back Blackpool's latest attempt to sign striker DJ Campbell, the Leicester Mercury understands.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway reportedly tabled a £1million bid, which has been rejected by manager Paulo Sousa.

City chief executive Lee Hoos said he would not comment on any speculation surrounding the player.
However, this appears to be the clearest indication yet that the City boss is determined to hang on to the 28-year-old striker.
Earlier this week, Sousa described Campbell as "someone who wants to do great things for the club during the season."
Holloway, who was manager at City when they slipped into League One in 2008, was prepared to smash the Blackpool transfer record to land Campbell permanently.
His eight goals in 14 games helped fire the Seasiders to a place in the Premier League while he was on loan at Bloomfield Road last season after failing to impress former boss Nigel Pearson.
Blackpool's record transfer fee is the £500,000 paid for Charlie Adam from Rangers.
However, City have previously quoted a price of £1.5m to the Tangerines as they try to recoup the majority of the £1.6m they paid Birmingham.
Campbell has been in stunning form for City with five goals in as many pre-season games as he looks to rebuild his career at the Walkers Stadium.
Campbell has impressed Sousa with his fitness and attitude.

“Dj is definitely a bit of an enigma. When he was coming off the bench a few yrs back I always thought that he looked like he could do the business. He has rapid pace and decent technique/touch. But during that time he didnt really take his chance, had that long injury lay off & never seemed to get on with managers.
With a fit, healthy & confident DJ then i still think he can bag 10+ gaols (minimum) at this level which surely has to be essential to City now we've lost Waggy.
Howver, we could do with the cash and him off the wages if his hearts not in it (only Sousa really knows that).
I think we should offer him a contract extension (another 2yrs perhaps) and if he refuses to sign then look to offload him before the end of the transfer window.... 1.5m could get us a decent replacement”

“Why are there so many posts on here by people who obviously never set foot in the ground.
By the way can you still get a season ticket for the popular side.”
