Clarification over times
The athletes' times which were published for the Leicester full and half Marathon in Monday's newspaper were the "finish times" and not the "net times".
This was because these times corresponded to the order in which the runners crossed the finish line.
The finish time is taken from the starting gun to whenever the individual crosses the line.
The net time is recorded from when the runner crosses the start and finish line. For the full list of results, including finish and net times, visit:

“There is something very wrong with the 'net' times - surely Nigel Stirk didn't take over 1.5minutes to cross the start line?! I'd take the gun to tape times as more reliable?”
