Classes help parents unwind at the Nagarjuna Kadampa Buddhist Centre, at St Martin's, in Leicester
There was a kind of hush – for parents anyway – at a new meditation class.
The classes, held each Tuesday morning at the Nagarjuna Kadampa Buddhist Centre, at St Martin's, in Leicester, are for parents with babies and toddlers.
They last about half-an-hour and comprise a short talk and guided meditation to help parents relax, unwind and develop a peaceful mind.
Buddhist nun Kelsang Nyingpo, education programme co-ordinator at the centre, said: "We had about seven parents and babies at the first session."
