Cold weather set to continue this week in Leicestershire

Weather warnings have been lifted for Leicestershire after snowfall overnight resulted in delays on routes into the city and across the county.

More light snow is forecast today and temperatures are set to remain very cold for the rest of the week.

Snow showers are due to become less widespread this afternoon with some sunny intervals.

Tonight will be dry and clear but a sharp frost is forecast with temperatures falling to -3C.
