College to maintain French link
A college is planning to deepen links with France after taking part in a teacher placement project in the past year.
William Bradford College, in Earl Shilton, was one of 45 schools in the UK to take on a French teacher.
Caroline Minck worked with the college's science team as part of the Jules Verne Project, instigated by the French Institute.
William Bradford principal Caroline Churchill said: "While Caroline is first and foremost a scientist, her infectious enthusiasm and her cultural knowledge have meant that our students have had a new window on the world provided for them in science, French and health and social care lessons, here in Earl Shilton."
