Comedy Review: Late Night Gimp Fight, Firebug, Leicester
Now here's a problem: how does one write about a sketch show whose varied subject matter was so indecent most of it can't even be hinted at in print without getting the newspaper into trouble? asks Alex Scoppie.
I guess I could start with the costumes; as their name suggested, fetish masks were the accessory of choice for this five-man troupe of devilish deviants, who opened with their own twisted take on Lady Gaga's Born This Way.

Then there's the thrillingly high levels of energy and speed at which the Gimps belted through their act, blitzkrieging the boundaries of good taste so often within an hour, the helplessly giggling audience could barely keep up.
And yes, they're funny – shamefully, shockingly funny – and inventive with it, using luminous appendages, singing toilet seats and video interludes of themselves doing very naughty things in popular movies to keep the filth fresh and varied.
