Plans for a multi-million pound revamp of a council's Victorian office complex are set to be approved on Tuesday.

The scheme is proposed by Harborough District Council for its headquarter in Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough.

Under the plans, the Harborough Museum will be extended and a cafe and shop built.

Shops will be created on the ground floor and offices for the district council and Leicestershire County Council created.

The application for the work has been recommended for approval to the planning committee which meets on Tuesday.

As part of the scheme, other offices will be offered to rent.
