Nine people attended a free life-saving course run by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

The course, at Loughborough library on Wednesday, was led by Emas membership manager Annie Palmer.

Its aim was to teach people what to do in an emergency.

Ms Palmer said: "If someone can do CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), they can buy the time needed for our ambulance crews to arrive and save the life of a loved one."
