Cricket latest: Leicestershire CCC rally after collapse against Derbyshire
Half-centuries by Jim Allenby and Tom New helped Leicestershire to rally on the third day of the Championship match at Derby.
County slipped to 92-5 in their second innings but hit back to close on 209-7 with Allenby hitting 52 and New 63 not out.
That gave them a lead of 256 with a day to play.
Earllier a devastating burst from pace bowler Iain O'Brien rocked the hosts.
The New Zealander claimed 6-87 as Derbyshire were all out for 365 in their first innings.
See Friday's Leicester Mercury for all the reaction.
