Charlotte Broughton dominated the under-12 race at Darley Moor to claim her second road race win of the season.

The Leicestershire Road Club rider and another of the under-12 group caught the main field of the under-14 riders who had started 30 seconds ahead of them.

Broughton attacked with four laps to go to whittle down the field, a further acceleration two laps out leaving her on her own and able to complete a convincing win.

Phil Rayner has started the road season strongly.

The Welland Valley man won the League of Veterans event at Towcester, hosted by Nene Valley.

Rayner was part of a four-man break which was clear for the final three laps before he put the hammer down to record victory.
