Cyclist who died after crash in Bruntingthorpe is named as Adam Bennett, of Kibworth
A cyclist who died after a suspected hit-and-run in Leicestershire has been named.
Adam Bennett, 41, from Kibworth, died after being involved in the collision with a van in Bruntingthorpe just after 2pm on Friday (November 2).

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the crash
Mr Bennett was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. He died on Tuesday, November 6.
A 68-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police said the van failed to stop at the scene of the collision, which happened near Shearsby Bath restaurant, in Bruntingthorpe Lane, at 2pm.
Detective Constable Seamus Burns is investigating the incident, he said: “The cyclist was travelling towards Bruntingthorpe Airfield when he was struck from behind by a van travelling in the same direction.
“From enquiries we’ve conducted so far we’ve located a van believed to have been involved in the collision however we would still like to trace the drivers of other vehicles which we believe were in the vicinity of the cyclist at the time of the incident."
