I was shocked to read about the plan intending to raid people's bank accounts in Cyprus to secure a bailout from the European Union. This is quite simply robbery and thus a criminal act and should not be allowed.

This is yet another example that the EU does not work and Cyprus should pull out immediately.

They should return to their own currency, the Cypriot pound, if my memory serves me correctly.

I have been to Cyprus with my family on many occasions, but from now on I shall start looking elsewhere, in fact, I will go to places where the currency is not the euro.

Freedom of the press, stated by Cameron as the reason for opposing statutory underpinning of the right of citizens to redress from the media, is protected under Article 10 of the European Convention of Human Rights.

Oh sorry, I forgot, most of the right wing press want to ditch the ECHR.

“Our own Government raids our savings every time it prints money. Euro countries don't have this open hence the tax.”
