Danny Drinkwater happy with City's positive handset
Danny Drinkwater insists Leicester City must adopt a positive mindset when they travel to Brighton and Hove Albion today.
The midfielder, who is vying to make his first start for the club after his £1 million transfer window move from Manchester United, said City must replicate the excellent performance at Southampton the last time they were on the road.
On that night, City were quick out of the blocks and pushed the buoyant hosts onto the back foot, and the 21-year-old said they must look to do the same against the Seagulls.
"We are going there to win, not to lose or draw," said Drinkwater, who has made two substitute appearances for City.
"We are going there to get the three points. We know Brighton are a good side, they have some good players, and they are in a bit of form, but we need to be positive like we were at Southampton. Since I have been here it has all been about positive thoughts."
City started brightly again on Wednesday night when they took an early lead against Middlesbrough.
They were unable to maintain it, however, although Drinkwater said they can take confidence from the spirit they showed to grab a late equaliser.
"We have come back from 2-1 down, which is my first thought," said Drinkwater.
"We are disappointed not to get the three points but, again, we have not lost the game.
"We picked up three points last week and one this, and if we can carry on not losing games we will be up there.
"We need to keep going, keep positive, and I am sure it will come. We will be all right come the end of the season."

“I agree, DD looks very good. I hope he comes in for Gallagher as I can't see Pearson sticking him in the centre. I'd like to see Marshall in today as well.
Danns and Wellens can afford to have a lack of pace if they have Marsh and Drinkwater to zip about alongside them.”

“I think they mean the mobile phone NP took to the stands with him on Wednesday night.
DD has to be a starter today. He seems to be able to pass to our players, keep the ball under pressure, and I would dearly like to see him given the resposibility to pull the strings from the centre of the Park.”

“Positive Handset? Really?”
